YESHUA – THE LIFTER OF MY HEAD

In the beginning, God created man in His own image and after His own likeness. God created a being like Himself; not to be subjugated, not to be supressed, but to manifest on earth as a fully verified copy of Himself; in power and in dominion. Nothing broken, nothing missing.

God created man as male and female. The male and the female were both created as man. The two separate yet one. They were created complete in God. The two of them had only one physical form and one identity. The man Adam was both male and female. They were both physically represented in and by the form of the male.

The female was content to exist as one entity with the male in the same body, however, the male had a situation; he lacked a companion. The female was with him and in him, but he was still without help, for he being male, is better affected by the things he can see and touch physically. The different animals and creatures were brought to the man and he named them all, but he rejected them as companions one after the other. He needed a strength, a soul mate, an entity like him who he could also relate to as equal to him.

The physical manifestation/presentation of the woman to the man was as an answer to a need. God gave the female to the man in physical form as a woman, she was presented as an “Ezer Kenegdo”.
– “Ezer” meaning – a “Rescuing Strength”, a “Powerful Help”, a “Warrior General”.
– “Kenegdo” meaning – “corresponding as to him”,  “equal to him”.

The male’s situation had received a solution. The male was now complete in himself to himself; he had beside him physically, his “Rescuing Strength” , “Warrior General ” and “Powerful Help”, a being equal to him.
The male and female were now man and woman, each clothed in individual physical form, and individual identity. However, in God they were still one form, one identity; just as God had created them in the beginning.

The woman was deceived by the serpent to eat of the forbidden fruit. She ate and gave her man to eat and they both disobeyed God. They despised their heritage as God carriers, they ripped off the image, the glory of God from off of themselves and they became naked and ashamed and God cursed them.

To the man, because he disobeyed the commandments of God and followed the voice of another; God cursed the ground because of him. God cursed the man to become preoccupied with his stomach all the days of his life, he would now have to fend for himself. Man was cursed to “work hard, to struggle with the earth and sweat before he eats.” – That was the curse.

To the woman, because she used her powerful unction and warrior mandate to influence the man to disobey God, God had a two fold curse with many sides for her. One, she would suffer pain in childbirth. Second, her priorities would become altered; she would crave with all her heart and mind, a husband’s love and attention, she would experience what the male suffered before she was presented to him; she would have a deep and a strong longing for her husband as a companion equal to herself, however she would never be fulfilled in that. The man would subdue her all her days, he would never see nor accept her as an equal and he would treat her as a subordinate and as inferior to himself. – That was the curse.

The sin was grievous, therefore the curses were heavily loaded. The lives and destinies of the man and woman had now been greatly altered even from the original plan. Instead of dominion, they had activated slavery. Instead of life eternal, they had activated death eternal.

However, God moved with love and compassion for man, came to the earth in human form to restore mankind back to the original settings. He came to earth so that the man and the woman would be able to go back to who they were before they sinned and disobeyed God. God came to offer Himself for man’s restoration to dominion and to life eternal.

Jesus came as a propitiation for our sins. He was made a curse so that every curse over our lives would be broken and totally removed. When Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, He set every man free from the curse death, of hard work, of struggle and sweat before he eats. He set every woman free from the curse of death, of pain in childbirth. He set every woman free from the curse of misplaced priorities, from the curse of inequality with her male counterpart. Jesus broke the curse and brought the woman out from under subjugation, suppression and oppresion, and He lifted up her head.

Jesus came to the earth to restore mankind to these settings:

– Life.

– The image of God reflected in man and the pattern of God as imprinted in man (male and female).

– The dominion mandate of man (male and female) as he aligns in complete and total trust and dependence on His God.

– The dignity, the calling, the ministry and the powerful unction over the life of the woman.

Jesus made powerful everlasting profound statements with the following acts:

1. In Cana of Galilee, even though it was not yet his time to begin his ministry and show himself to the world, yet He honoured His mother’s ministry of a ‘Shame Remover’ as He broke the protocol of timing to perform the miracle of turning water to wine. This act highlighted the importance of the woman and pointed her out as a “Rescuing Help”.

2. When it was time to begin his ministry, Jesus chose a woman to announce Him to the world. He even chose a woman who had been defiled and despised. He set a meeting at the well with His chosen and there, He took away her pain, her confusion and her shame. He revealed Himself to her as the Messiah of the world, thus making her the first evangelist of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He gave her a world-shattering message and sent her forth into her world. He restored the woman’s office as a “solution to a great need”, “a credible witness of God’s help”.  The woman, a “Powerful Help”, a “Rescuing Strength”.

3. Jesus died for our sins. He took our death sentence upon Himself; and on the third day He rose from the dead. He being our High Priest was on His way to the Holy of Holies in The Heavenlies, carrying His precious blood – The blood of The Unblemished Lamb. He was on His way to pour His own life blood as an atonement for mankind on the Mercy Seat in the Presence of The “I AM”. Jesus saw Mary of Magdala in the garden, crying and asking for Him, He yet again honoured the woman. With His life blood flowing from Him, Jesus broke protocol and stopped to speak with Mary Magdalene. He showed her love and compassion, taking her pain away and choosing her above any other, as the first among the living to see the resurrected Saviour. He chose her as the Prophet to announce and bring the revelation of His resurrection to His disciples. He restored to the woman her sure confidence and her completeness in God. He validated her status and ranking in spiritual matters, her credibility as a voice of God, her honour as an instrument of salvation, her calling and unction as rescuer of destinies, a warrior general, a strength, a powerful help and her dignity as an undeniable equal to man, yet submitted to her man in the loving communion of marriage. Jesus broke all the curses and brought forth complete restoration. Selah.
