LIGHT THAT EXTINQUISHES DARKNESS.

LIGHT THAT SWALLOWS UP DARKNESS.

Darkness is heaviness. Darkness is strain, darkness is strife, struggles and pain. Darkness obscures, darkness covers. Darkness restricts, darkness stifles. When darkness grips a space, it pervades the perception and shuts down everything; so that the human eye can no longer function to see. Darkness locks down.

Sorrow is darkness. Illness and sickness are darkness. Lack is darkness. Reproach is darkness. Pain, depression, frustration and shame all belong to darkness. Every work of evil is darkness.

The only thing that can take away darkness is LIGHT. Light breaks the power of darkness. Light disgraces darkness, light subdues darkness. Light removes darkness. Light erases darkness.

Light is visibility. Light is illumination. Light is freedom, light is ease and lightness.
Light has to do with perception and sight. When light fills a space, perception is quickened and sight is activated. Light is detected -perceived and then acknowledged by the eyes. The more light there is, the clearer the perception and the more/the better, the normal human eye sees.

Light is defined as “electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye”, signifying that there is electromagnetic radiation that is not visible to the human eye.

Light is defined as “a form of energy which our sense of sight can detect”. Which means once our sense of sight cannot detect it, it is not USEFUL to us as light.

The wavelength of visible light is 380-780 nanometres. For light to be visible to the normal human eye, it has to be in this range. There is a range or degree for visible light. Once the range is lower than 380-780 nm, light is not visible, therefore it does not illuminate.

Light is energy.
Energy is defined as “activity”.
Light is therefore activity that produces illumination.

Light is what we think, what we say, what we do. Light is activity. Our words conduct either light or darkness. Our thoughts initiate either light or darkness. Our actions present either darkness or light.

What kind of thoughts do you think? What words do you speak? How do you behave? Do you say good words some of the time?  Or all of the time? Or none of the time? What kind of energy are you generating into your heart, into your space, your environment by your words and actions? How much light energy are you generating by the way you live?  Is it enough to produce visible light – light that would make a bright difference?

What kind of energy are you producing with your life? lluminating energy? Are your words and actions taking away the darkness around you or are they making the darkness deeper?

Matthew 5: 14-16 – vs 14 says we are the light of the world, vs16 says our light must be the visible kind of light, bright enough for all human eyes to see. Bright enough to take away the darkness, to give direction.

The darkness around us can only be brought down by the light that shines through us. The answer to sickness, sorrow, lack, etc, is in our lives shinning bright as light to our world, so that the darkness can be destroyed.

Our prominence, our positive influence, our greatness in life depends on the light that we choose to display with our lives. We can never be visible to our world until we begin to shine as light for ALL to see. No-one who lives in darkness can be visible to anyone; for darkness conceals, darkness hides, darkness cloaks and chokes. Light liberates, light emancipates, light lifts up and out of darkness.

When we shine as light, we rule and we reign in all life circumstances. Isaiah 60:3 & Isaiah 62:1.
The only way to escape the perversion and the evil in our world today is by functioning as light. 1Thessalonians 5:5

Light takes away shame and reproach. Psalms 34:5
When you function as light you will find your way through life. John 12:35 & 46.

Light is sweet (Ecclesiastes 11:7), it takes away bitterness and sorrow, it wipes pain and erases shame. Sweetness will never cease from your life when you keep shinning as light in all you say and do.
